New Beta Search Experience
We're introducing a new and improved search experience, now available in beta, designed to help you find what you're looking for faster!What's New:
- More Relevant Search Results: Search now prioritizes key document details, such as vendor, amount, category, and date, instead of all text recognized within your scanned documents (OCR). This helps surface the most relevant results first.
- Smarter Spelling Recognition: Search can now recognize words that sound alike, even if they're spelled differently. For example, searching for "Smith" can also find "Smyth."
- Expanded Search: Searching for multiple words returns items that match any of your search terms, rather than requiring all of them. This can help you find more potential matches when you're unsure of the exact wording.
- You're In Control!: Turn the new search experience on or off in the settings.

Enable & Disable the New Beta Search Experinece
To enable the new beta search experience, click the Try our new search experience! button next to the search bar.
Once enabled, you can turn the beta search experience on or off by:
- Clicking your name at the top right corner of Neat.
- Then click Account Settings.
- Scroll down your account setting until you see the New Search Experience (Beta) section.
- Toggle the switch on or off to enable or disable the new experience.
