Invoicing in the Neat Mobile App

View and manage your invoices in the Neat Mobile Application!

NOTICE: As of October 31, 2023, Neat will no longer process online payments through the invoicing feature. This means that credit card and bank ACH payments will cease to function in your invoices. You will still have the ability to manually record payments in Neat but you won't be able to accept any online payments through invoices created and sent from Neat.

This is a result of our third-party payment processor terminating their service as of December 31, 2023. They are expected to make an announcement regarding future payment processing options at a later date.

Neat is ceasing payment processing at the end of October in order to allow time to resolve any pending payment issues before December 31, 2023.

How do I access my invoices in the mobile application?

  1. Once you have your mobile application launched, toggle over to the Invoicing screen and select Invoices.

  2. After clicking on Invoices, you will see all of your invoices that are you have created in Neat.

Can I create new invoices in the mobile application?

Yes, you can now create invoices on the go within the Neat mobile application.
  1. Follow the above steps to access your Invoices.
  2. Click on the plus (+) symbol in the bottom right corner.

  3. You will then be take to a screen where you can configure your invoice.

  4. Also, after adding a product/service to your invoice, you can also include a discount or a fee. Please Note:The option to add a fee or discount is only available after a product or servuce is added.

Can I change the status of an invoice in the mobile application?

At this time you are not able to change the status of an invoice within the Neat mobile application. To change the status of an invoice, you will have to log into the web application at app.neat.com.

How can I view and create a customer in the mobile application?

  1. Click Invoicing from the home screen, then Customers.

  2. Here you can view, edit, and add new customers. Click the plus (+) symbol on the bottom right of the customers page.

  3. Enter your customer's information. You can add multiple email addresses for one customer by clicking the plus (+) Email Address button.

  4. Click Save when you're done.

How can I view and create products in the mobile application?

  1. After accessing the invoices home screen, select Products at the bottom of the screen to view all of your products in Neat.

  2. You can then select the plus (+) symbol in the bottom right. From there, you can add all infomration for your new product and select Save.
