Mobile Subscriptions

Neat now offers the option to purchase a subscription directly within the Neat mobile app. Previously, subscriptions were only available for purchase through neat.com.

One of the main differences with mobile subscriptions is that they are subject to the terms of the App Store or the Google Play store. Android mobile subscriptions are coming soon but you may still use the Android app with a current subscription purchased from neat.com.

If you already have a Neat subscription, there is no need to subscribe again.

Can I begin with a free trial?

Yes, if you don't already have a Neat plan you can start with a free trial of Neat to see how Neat can benefit you. Please see the next FAQ below for steps on how to start a subscription including a free trial.

How do I start a mobile subscription?

  1. To start a mobile subscription, download the Neat mobile app for your device. The app is available on Google Play for Android devices and the App Store for iOS devices. 



  2. Enter your email address.



  3. Complete the information requested to create your account.




  4. You can choose to start a free 14-day trial or purchase a plan immediately.



How can I check my subscription status in the mobile app?

The Subscription option is only available to the account owner.
  1. After signing into the Neat mobile app, tap Settings (gear icon) in the upper right.
  2. Press Subscription.
  3. Your Plan Name and status will be displayed along with the Billing Frequency and your Next Billing Date.

How do I cancel my subscription in the mobile app?

The Subscription option is only available to the account owner.
  1. After signing into the Neat mobile app, tap Settings (gear icon) in the upper right.
  2. Press Subscription.
  3. At the bottom:
    • Android users press Manage Subscription and continue to step 4.
    • Apple iOS users press Cancel My Subscription and confirm the cancellation on the subsequent screen.
  4. Android accounts will be redirected to the app subscription management center on the same device. Follow the applicable steps as directed. (In-app subscription management coming soon!)

How do I delete my account in the mobile app?

The Subscription option is only available to the account owner.

Important: Deleting your account will permanently delete all files stored in Neat. Once they are deleted, there is no way to recover the data. In order to delete your account, your Neat account must be in an Expired state. You will not be able to delete your account if you have an active subscription.
  1. After signing into the Neat mobile app, tap Settings (gear icon) in the upper right.
  2. Press Subscription.
  3. Press Delete My Account.
    1. If your subscription is still active, you will receive a notice to deactivate your account before you can delete it.
    2. If your subscription is cancelled or expired, you'll be prompted to re-confirm your choice to delete the account data before it will be queued for deletion.
