Getting Started
NeatReceipts is a portable scanner and Smart Organization System. With the NeatReceipts mobile scanner, you can scan receipts, business cards, and documents on the go while the software identifies, extracts, and organizes key information. The NeatReceipts portable scanner is slim and light, so it fits easily into your briefcase, bag, or carry-on. It also doesn’t require AC power — just plug its USB into your computer and it’s good to go. Learn how to start using Neat’s mobile scanner by following the steps provided in the article links below.
- Install the scanner driver
Download and install the driver for the NM-1000 scanner. For Windows 11, install the 64-bit driver.

- Download and install the Neat Desktop Application
- Account Management
You don't need a Neat account to use the Neat scanner but it certainly helps to keep organized, find and share documents quickly, work with your items in the mobile app, and so much more!
Once logged in to your Neat account, you can manage your account settings, including your Neat Cloud subscription plan, activation services, and accounting connections.
