Beta Mac Drivers for Neat Scanners

Mac Beta drivers for Neat Scanners are now available for testing for current Mac operating systems.

Please note the following:
  • This driver will only work with Neat scanners released after 2010 which is limited to these scanner models: NM-1000, ND-1000, and NC-1000.
  • This driver is not a final release and is still in development.
  • This driver has worked successfully for many users, BUT this driver may have bugs and may not resolve your issue.
  • We can give you early access to this test driver to see if it allows you to scan on your Mac.
  • This test driver was designed for macOS 13: Ventura and newer Mac operating systems. It may work with older versions of macOS and is, therefore, worth trying but is not directly supported.

Installation Tip

This driver has been submitted to Apple so you should not run into this error but, just in case, your Mac OS might think it comes from an "unidentified developer" and display this message:

"NeatDrivers.v.4.3.1.pkg cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware.”

This is a Mac security restriction that you can easily bypass by going to System Settings > Privacy & Security, then under “Security”, choose "Open Anyway" to allow the driver installation to continue.

Once installed, connect your Neat scanner.
