Beta Mac Drivers for Neat Scanners

Mac Beta drivers for Neat Scanners are now available for testing for current Mac operating systems. Complete the form below to try the Beta driver.
Once you receive the driver, see this Installation Tip.

Please note the following:
  • This driver will only work with Neat scanners released after 2010 which is limited to these scanner models: NM-1000, ND-1000, and NC-1000.
  • This driver is not a final release and is still in development.
  • This driver has worked successfully for many users, BUT this driver may have bugs and may not resolve your issue.
  • We can give you early access to this test driver to see if it allows you to scan on your Mac.

Complete the Form to Get Access to the Beta Driver

Since we are still testing this driver, to gain early access to the beta scanner driver for macOS, complete all the information requested in the linked form:

Mac Beta Scan Driver Form

The form will have you answer the following questions:
  • What is your specific Mac model number, as shown in About This Mac?
  • What is your macOS version?
  • Are you using a dongle to connect your scanner to your Mac?
  • What is your scanner model number?
Once completed, you will receive the driver in an email within 24 business hours.

Installation Tip

Because this is a test driver that has not been submitted to Apple, your Mac OS will recognize that it comes from an "unidentified developer" and display this message:

"NeatDrivers.v.4.3.1.pkg cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware.”

This is a Mac security restriction that you can easily bypass by going to System Settings > Privacy & Security, then under “Security”, choose "Open Anyway" to allow the driver installation to continue.

Once installed, connect your Neat scanner.
