Reporting

The Neat Software Report feature allows you to create expense reports, tax reports, and spending reports. Once created, it will be added to your library and you can download your report to share it with anyone who may need to view it for accounting or record keeping purposes. Expense Report

Create an expense report using data from the receipts that you’ve scanned into Neat. Follow the steps in this article to create an Expense Report:

Spending Summary Report

Create a spending summary report that highlights the ways that you spent money using data from the receipts that you’ve scanned into Neat. These reports provide list of purchases and total spending amounts by percentage.  Spending Detail reports provide more detail about purchases scanned into Neat and allows for quick comparisons.
The Neat Software can summarize and spending summary reports based on the following criteria:

  • Client Name
  • Receipt Date
  • Payment Type
  • Vendor Name

Spending Detail Report

Spending Detail Reports will create a detailed report of different purchases using data from the receipts that you’ve scanned into Neat. These reports provide more detail about purchases scanned into Neat, where Spending Summary simply lists and totals spending amounts.
The Neat Software can summarize and spending reports based on the following criteria:

  • Client Name
  • Receipt Date
  • Payment Type
  • Vendor Name

Tax Category Report

Create a tax category report that aggregates the tax categories you are utilizing using data from the receipts that you’ve scanned into Neat.
The Neat Software can summarize and tax category reports based on the following criteria:

  • Client Name
  • Receipt Date
  • Payment Type
  • Total Amount
  • Vendor Name

Sales Tax Report

Create a sales tax report that aggregates and totals the sales tax you have incurred using data from the receipts that you’ve scanned into Neat.
